I use up-to-date software and quality hardware but the most important factors are my love of web site work and my efficiency. My rates make most web masters cringe. Displaying my finished work for the entire world to see is as much a reward to me as the monetary.

Another reward for me is when my clients start to use the HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) coding formats I create for their pages. I encourage my clients to "learn my tricks" and will offer pointers when my clients try to edit their pages using my coding patterns.

I encourage ALL my clients, who show even the slightest interest in HTML editing, to try and edit the pages I create for them. I can repair any "damage" by just uploading a good copy of the original page which erases any clients "goofy" edits. My "left justified" and "group spacing" formats are very easy to understand because ALL the coding is visible without any long lines running off to the right out of view (with rare exceptions). Being able to see all the coding makes it easier to understand the structure of the page and that makes it easier to edit the text or image HTML.

I always try to display any web site creation or web page repair WITHIN my business domain [ photonwillie.com ] for my clients to see exactly how it will look online BEFORE it is committed to its final location.

Lately, I have done more web page repair than web site creation. In some ways it is easier for me to do web page repair since I have a general idea what my client is looking for and then I just do the web page repair and modify the page to bring out what I feel the client is looking for.

When I perform a web page repair, it is done primarily by hand coding. I do occasionally use one of several editors to create a special effect or to code an exceptionally complicated part of a page but even then I go over the created page and usually have to tweak it a little by hand. I look at each line of HTML and do what is necessary to correct or delete the HTML. The web page repair usually removes unnecessary HTML coding and "HTML editor added junk". After each web page repair, you will usually see all the HTML coding lined up along the left side of the screen. Most HTML editors insert indents but I remove ALL indents when doing my web page repair. When creating HTML for web site creations I set no indents either. This is sometimes referred to as "Left Justification". The web page repair or web site creation HTML is always left justified and arranged in such a way that the HTML coding can be visually understood as easily as possible by me (and my clients) so as to make any future modifications done easily. Certain structural alignments simply can not be done without seeing the HTML directly and positioning it properly. One example of this type my "special alignment technique" can be seen here
